Liebherr-Aerospace delivers first components for Embraer KC-390
Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), recently delivered the first set of components for the KC-390 military airlifter to Embraer, São José dos Campos (Brazil).
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer had selected Liebherr's center of excellence for air management systems to develop and supply the bleed air, the cabin pressure control and the air-conditioning systems.
Thanks to Liebherr's next-generation technologies, the KC-390 will feature lower weight, increased reliability and reduced environmental footprint. The systems are currently undergoing intensive tests at Liebherr's test center in Toulouse. Functional tests at system-level started recently.
